MARC Net Control Script

This is your call.

CQ the Mankato Area Radio club Emergency Services Net. CQ the Mankato Area Radio club Emergency Services Net. This net meets every Sunday evening on or about 9:30 PM local time. The purpose of this net is to: handle traffic, encourage 2 meter activity in the area, and provide emergency training. Your net control this evening is your call and my name is your name. This is a controlled net. To check in, give your call only! At this time are there any stations with traffic only?

Give stations time to check in and then read back their calls to confirm that they were heard. If there is traffic, ask for someone to receive it. If it is a short message, handle it right on frequency so others can hear how it is done. If it a long message, have the sender and receiver move off frequency. The net control has discretion on how this should be done.
